The so-called "Kamoteng Kahoy"

I heard the news last night, roughly 28 people have died in an elementary school in Bohol from a food poison which is according to initial reports was caused by a delicacy commonly known as "kamoteng kahoy". I felt sad coz most of the victims, students aged 6 to 12 of years, T_T were dead on arrival T_T. Let's just pray for them and I hope this won't happen again.

As I remember I (aged 10) experienced food poisoning (however, nothing serious happened), odd thing is, I also ate kamoteng kahoy that time. I didn’t know it happened to my brother too, until he told us about it after watching the news. With the same story, we ate kamoteng kahoy with toppings of cheese on it. Can't remember the whole thing, except that no words can describe how I felt that very moment. I didn't even know it was caused by kamoteng kahoy. Luckily, it was not that critical, otherwise you won't be reading this blog anymore..ahahahahahah... I never tried kamoteng kahoy after...hehe.. Thankful to God, I and my bro survived. Thank God!

As for the kamoteng kahoy, my mom told me (she heard from the news), you must know how to "cook" kamoteng kahoy the right way, maybe there is a "technique" or procedure on how to, can be... I dunno.. So if you're planning to do so, be extra careful, better yet, cook other delicacies, don't take risks, you never know what will come next. ^_^
