Summer's S'es (A FrEEinG ExPerieNce)

SuMMer just wouldn't be complete without these S’s: swimming pool, salbabida, sunblock, and whose going to forget those pair of swim suits you have (this seems to be the highlight of the trip, as always) hehe.. It wouldn’t have been called “Summer” if those were missing.

It has been a practice in the family to have a swimming trip every summer and this is somehow treated as another family reunion. And though I just recovered from a fever, still I packed up, but of course, who would want to miss this one? ^_^ We had our swimming escapade, overnight swimming this time, umm, overdawn swimming I might say. Coz I think we had overnight probing rather than overnight swimming for that matter. Hehe. We had plans, but I think those plans didn’t jived, umm partly anyhow.

1) Start from Saturday (April 9) at 6 pm till Sunday (April 10) at 3pm --- partly checked
2) Meeting place: our place in Makati --- partly checked
3) Private Pool --- unchecked
3) Headcount: 24 --- unchecked
4) 2 batch: 1st batch to search for the place to swim (coz we don’t know yet where we’re heading..hahaha)
2nd batch to wait for our cue if we have found a place, and still they have to wait for my father and cousin’s arrival from work
---checked
5) 1st batch 2pm to leave the house ---- checked
6) 2nd batch 5pm to leave the house --- big big unchecked!!!!!hehe

(Reasons of checked and unchecked below)

My sister and I went to Glorietta to buy goods and other personal stuffs we need that day, arrived there at 10:30 that only proves we’re not that prepared. But it turned well, anyway. We’re on a hurry coz we were one of the first batch to go find the place, it would be just somewhere in Laguna and they were all bugging us to go home right away. Then arrived 12 noon in the house, had not eaten well coz I have yet to pack up my things. Then, zoom, went to the van, and off to Laguna. But due to some misunderstanding and all those sorts, we still have to go to Cavite Dasma (reason for no.2 plan) to fetch my aunt and cousins. Unfortunately, 3 of them were not able to come (reason for no. 3 plan). Anyways, I had a chance to go get a glimpse of the “lupa” we have in Dasma, and then reveries started to rule my head, hehe… Back to the journey, it was already past fifteenth hour when we finished all the “aberyas”, hehe. All I did to kill the time was of course, text and then text and then text (thanks to Globe), and not to forget the pictorial burst. ^_^ And then finally we arrived in Laguna at 5pm, that signals the 2nd batch to leave from home, but when we called them one of my uncle and his family haven’t arrived yet (reason for no.1 plan). Well, nothing’s new, every summer outing or other family gathering they always came late, hahahahahaha, peace out! Umm, that’s okay, and besides we’re still looking for the place. At 6, at 7, at 8 still looking for the place (reason again for no 1 plan). And still at 6 at 7 and at 8, still waiting for my uncle to get home, and alas they left home at past 8. At 6 at 7 and at 8, nothing’s left for us to eat but junk foods and buns, coz other foods were from the second batch, take note, nothing left to EAT but those, to DRINK not even 1 was left. My, I wanted to go down and just walk, too heavy traffic in Laguna, that before you can even cross a meter you have to wait an hour, hehehe, but kidding aside, we waited for so long that my aunt and my cousin decided to walk and find a private pool for us (I did not bother to come, they might be alienated with my good sense of road direction (lol)). And because it’s already late, private pools that were left were if not that good it will give you too much for the budget like from 15K above, what the… is the water flows in it as if gold? hehe… it is already a month of my salary for good sake. Moving along, nothing left so we decided not to go for a private pool, otherwise all these we’ll leave a scratch (reason for no. 3). My aunt and cousin called (the one’s already walking), and they said they were in Makiling Highlands, though it’s just a few kilometer away from where we were trapped we arrived there an hour. Then after dragging there, still can’t because of some reasons, then we were turned over to Monte Vista, that means another hour to travel. After heading there, finally, no, not finally, coz no rooms left for us there!!!!! Now what?? We saw a resort just across Monte Vista, we checked the place and its absolutely fine, so that we need not to wait another hour to finally settle down, just have to make traffic signs and sort of charisma to finally cross there, hahahaha.. Then we called the second batch, it’s already 10 that time and Globe’s havin a bad network!!! We waited an hour just to found out that their transpo went down. Hmmp, I don’t know what happened, I just know my stomach aches and all it wanted was to be fed up. Hehe, we bought noodles and I was kinda feeling ill so I just slept a while. Then the second batch came quarter to 12 midnight. Set the table and then we ate our dinner! Thank God, we lasted that time. Then, swimming afterwards!!! That is why it’s not overnight swimming anymore but overdawn, hehe… We had a lot of fun, swimming, videoke, billiards (mga barako kong kuya), eat and eat and eat! Hehe… Got a few sugat or small cuts (another summer’s S’es) and a big one in my finger toe.

Oh and I almost forgot, before we left, there is this girl who was drowned, they said she had an attack (I don’t know what kind of attack could that be), we just know that she might have stayed drowned in the water (7 ft) a long time already, no one have noticed it, even her companions (friends, could be a barkada outing), if it wasn’t for this guy who accidentally bumped into her…tsk tsk, I just hope she’s well. This is so far the second time we had experience seeing person drowned dragging down to the hospital. T_T

I really have so much things in my head to say, but I think I have to park for now. To sum it up, really had a good time with my folks. My! We have gone through a lot lot lot lot of stuffs before we finally tasted this quote and quote “freeing experience” once again. As if we’re on a mouse maze, had been through a lot of hard time navigating the maze before finally getting the cheese, but in the end it’s all worth it. And times spent in the van, is quite a family get-together anyhow, and surely we had a lot lot lot of fun.

And oh, lastly, the final S you would definitely have after this pleasure trip is sunburn and most were at the back, it’s worth the pain anyways… ^_^
