BTL FeVeR

Whoa, it took me months to finally sit-in my blog now. Well, anyway I’m not really in the mood talking now, my head still up on air, one-eye-open, the other eye asleep, half of me at bed the other half at work, and some still wandering in the retreat (just held last fri-sun). See, hehe, I’m not really in good state now. I haven't got any good sleep but its okay, seeing BTL a success is worth a hundred sleep. LOL.. Moving along, we hosted the BTL Retreat in our parish church last Fri-Sun. At long last, even though we sang for the 6:30 pm mass every Saturday , iba pa rin kapag "weekend" bonding. I and my batchmates (Batch 4), our nanays and other staff reunite again to host the big event, called as BTL retreat. BTL bloomed again, it’s just that we’re not the participants anymore but staff who organized the retreat. We were no longer served but we’re the ones who served incoming BTL’ers. But I guess, serving others is way way better than you sitting down there waiting your tummy to be fed, sitting around and listening and arguing with the talkers and all the like. But I’m not saying it’s no-good to be a participant, of course not! Participants are always well-treated, and you’ll be surprise to every minute of your stay there, as in full of surprises!!!! As much as I would like to share it with you guys but can't, sorry for I cannot disclose it here, one of the SOP of the retreat is “What you see, what you hear when you leave you leave it here”. (Oops, got to have a little confession to do around here. Haha..) Except of course to spiritual things pondered that might save other souls. Anyway, that’s our time for revenge, so Batch 4 shouldn’t miss any single thing. Haha.. Sigh, I wasn’t able to come on our first night (Fri), I got sick! I just dropped by to give the remaining nametags for the participant. I prepared those and other SFX stuff for only a week or so. It was my first time to be an SFX head, I don’t even know what SFX means, haha.. Just informed of the things I need to do, buy and bring like nametags, design the logo, poster, materials for the talk, flowers, and other things. It was I think our second day when I finally told what SFX means, it was short for Special Effects, nyek… So much for that, I stayed home Friday night, got a whole night rest. By then, I was told that it was really one of the histories of BTL, all SFX head usually get sick because of loads done here, too much loads that even at work I used to cut, print, design nametags and the like. Worth it naman!!! I got back Saturday pm for I have to get first my passport in Makati City Hall in the morning. All the hardships we’ve done to make this Weekend a success were veiled by moments we were in the kitchen, staff room, lobby, filled with so much fun and even found new friends. New friends mean new friensters! It won’t be complete without uttering “Uy add mo ko sa friendster ah, testi ko!!”.. Hehe.. Even other “unknown presence” befriends us, isn’t that sweet??? Too sweet, that some appeared while taking pics. Tada!! Still remember the figure, can’t get it out of my head (sounds familiar, lol) Hehe.. That signaled others to tell other “sweet stories” about them…Goosebumps! Hehe.. had a lot of fun that we tend to reminisce the weekend we had last December. Hark back the pasaway moments we had. Actually they told us, batch 4 is the pasaway batch among all batches… Haha… The retreat lasted 12:30 am last Sunday, and as usual bangenge lahat ng staff, considering some of us would still have to go at work the next few hours (including me), I wonder how could that be… Hehe, well anyway, the best talaga ito… Can’t wait till the next BTL, all because of BTL… See you all soon….

I’m not in the mood talking, isn’t it obvious?? Hehe.. Have to park now, got to prepare for our meeting, bangag pa naman ako ngayon. Just keep two eyes open, hehe…Well good luck rachelle…
