RECAP FOR THE FEW MONTHS
2 months is quite a long time now to remember even the very little that had happened to me. I never got the chance to even visit this site for some reasons and yet always promise to have at least a flash update on this. Anyways, it’s good thing that I’m finally back, not back for good, it’s a different thing… hehe
1) Appraisal and Regularization. I got appraised and finally signed my regularization for the company. Got a high rate (both Tin and I) and that is a “job well done” (that is quote and quote) . Actually, the story was a bit *****, Tin was the first one to be interviewed, and having that feeling to be the last on the line is no joke. I mean, before I could finally enter the conference room I would have to suffer inputs first like bundle of nerves and panicked stomach, add up too the cold in the office, what do you think would be the output (hahaha) ????. So disturbed that I can’t focus on my task that day, haha! Kuya knew all about it, we were throwing mails that day and that’s one of the highlight… But I was relieved, having those words from my boss is certainly a relief …As a treat we had a big lunch-out the next day at Krokodile’s Grill …. oh by the way, the output was, not the thing in your head but goosebumps! (half-way close, hahaha) :p
2) Europe Project. We should have been packing up, getting ready for our Europe Project but was decided to be done in Manila office instead. I was included in the team to do a project with a PM all the way from CS Europe Regional office. Actually…. my boss already warned me not to expect that much this time, of course! Just daydreaming! Hahaha.. sigh, there would be other projects outside the country left for us anyways (hope so, soon before “Tin2’s and I plan” to come, hehehe ;) ). The project will finally be held here, our PM will go here in the country some time in August. I already saw her pic on the intranet, ummm… kinda strict but let’s see… I wonder what would be the outcome, coding and speaking with a European slang…hehe…good luck chelle!!!
3) Souvenir Program. What I am busy with this time (aside of course from my work), hmmm, is the Souvenir Program of the Parish. Though I am not quite sure how many sleeping hours we’ve just spent for the entire weeks (just kidding, hehe), I am happy with what I am doing, hope so with them, certainly!. I have learned so much too. We have been using Photoshop and publisher software, we have networked PC’s that we were working on (as if Father Eugene’s office turned to a computer café, hehehe) and that indeed helped me learn new things from them. From the bloopers we had, night life sa simbahan (bait, hehe), “ang gaaaaaaliiiing aaaahhhh” na pangaasar, flashback stories from Ka Oyong (galing mgiba ng topic si ate Tina, hehe), “brownies na basa” (mas masarap kaysa sa tuyo), “multo stories!!!”, crashed computers na peke at crashed computer na muntik mgkatotoo, “masaraduhan ng gate” down to the “same as last year” and “tarayan” moments as they say (gutom lang yun, hahahahha), are worth the sacrifices we have invested. There’s a plenty of romm for OTs here, hehe.. Now that we are waiting for the final dummy layout, that would certainly leave us say “cute mga gumawa nyan” hehe joke, kidding aside proud of an accomplishment that was really done through a lot of hardship and of course fun!
4) Finally EGR. I finally attended the EGR! Really am happy to be part of it. I learned so many things. “Wala ng take home” as we used to say! Why? Sorry no right to disclose it here…hehe… Enjoyed a lot! Why? Sorry…. Hahahaha…As much as I would like to share the encounter I had there, ummm but can’t, had promised not to and besides it would be better if you’ll be the one to witness the whole story….. The bottom line here is, this is the best gift I ever had in my Birthday!
5) Celebrating Life. For the record, best birthday ever had. Why? Think I have/had all the things that I should be thankful of and yes, more and more to come! Why a sudden change? I just got interested with Hellen Keller’s story and had passed on her stirring quotes, one has striked me: “Instead of comparing our lot with that of those who are more fortunate than we are, we should compare it with the lot of the great majority of our fellow men. It then appears that we are among the privileged.” Need I say more? =) For the 20 years (uy bisto ang age, haha) passed and every 17th of July that came, it is I who always receive gifts, and the like…… Now is a different thing…. Maybe now is the time to at least share what I am blessed with, and it is and will always be a great feeling to do such thing, no matter how great or small it is…… One more thing, thanks to all who greeted me!!! =)) And to CS Family (company) for the gift...hahaha... ;)
